Tessa Burgener has been the marketing and communications manager at Aurora Cooperative since December 2016. Raised on a farm in Gering, NE, she developed a deep appreciation for agriculture early on. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, she began her career at the Aurora News-Register, which helped her quickly connect with her new community.

Tessa is a past board member of the Plainsman Museum and has also served as a mentor in the TeamMates Program. She and her husband, Jeremy, live in Aurora, NE with their two daughters, Charley (6) and Parker (2), as well as their beloved black lab, Hooligan. Jeremy is the Aurora Legion Baseball coach, so the family enjoys spending their summers at the baseball field supporting the team. Additionally, Tessa enjoys reading and taking walks on the trails in Aurora.
