LaVerne Rempel joined the Hamilton Community Foundation in January 2025, and serves on the Scholarship Committee. LaVerne is a lifelong resident of Hamilton County, He graduated from Aurora High School. Growing up on a farm, LaVerne had the opportunity to start farming in 1973 while still in high school. His wife, Lynda, is retired from ESU 9 after 46 years. They have 3 married children and 11 grandchildren. LaVerne and his wife attend Stockham Community Church where LaVerne has served on several boards and committees. They like to travel and attend many activities for grandchildren.
