Jeff Morris grew up in Southeast Kansas and attended Kansas schools. He married Robin Wilcox-Morris, a native of Aurora, in 2005 and they moved to Aurora in 2007. He is a patent attorney and the owner of Morris Patent Law. He served for 30 years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, retiring in May 2023 after serving for several years as the lead Reserve attorney for the U.S. Space Force. He has served for over a decade as the Chair of the Aurora Planning Commission and has served twice as the President of the Aurora Rotary Club. He strongly believes that small communities only prosper when people pitch in to help out—and appreciates that the Hamilton Community Foundation enables and amplifies the hard work of people who are pitching in to making a difference throughout Hamilton County, Nebraska.
